Mel B, who has been clean and sober for months and has passed all of her drug tests, now wants her visits with her daughter to be unsupervised.
Mel B is currently required to have a nanny present during all of her visits with her daughter Madison, who she shares with ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Mel B is now asking the court to vacate an order from last September which required the supervision.
The singer reportedly claims that she has“passed each and every one of the random drug and alcohol tests with flying colors.” She also added, “I love Madison and I would never do anything to jeopardize her safety.”
Mel B is also requesting that Madison’s therapist be ditched the therapist, Karin Manger reportedly told her she was “really concerned about Madison” and that Manger believed Stephen “has been coaching Madison prior to her therapy sessions about what to say in therapy.”
Mel B allegedly believes Ms. Manger has “inappropriately entangled herself in this litigation” and that she is now “acting beyond the scope of her duties.” She further claims Manger “may have lost her objectivity as a mental health professional," per The Blast.
Mel is also preparing for the Spice Girls reunion tour which kicks off May 24 in Dublin and wraps up on Jun. 15 in London.
