Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles has finally broken her silence on the news of her brother's arrest for triple murder.

Simone's brother Tevin Biles-Thomas, 24, was arrested Thursday at Fort Stewart in Georgia over a New Year's Eve shooting at an Airbnb property, according to Ohio law officials. The shooting left three men dead and two injured.

According to reports, a fight broke out after an "uninvited group" turned up at a party. 19-year-old Delvante Johnson and 21-year-old Toshaun Banks died at the scene. Devaughn Gibson, who was 23, died in the hospital.

"My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families," Simone tweeted Monday.

"There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone's pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy," she wrote.

The family is asking for some privacy while she and her family deal with the pain of this incident.
