The East Pittsburgh Police have been caught on tape - MURDERING a 17-year-old boy. The officer was spotted SHOOTING the teen in the back - as he FLED FOR HIS LIFE. The entire incident was caught on camera.
So far the police in East Pittsburgh have not spoken publicly about the murder caught on camera.
The teenager - who is believed to be 17 and not 13 as is described on social media - was with two others in a grey car. The car was stopped by police, on a traffic stop - and then things went badly.
Officers handcuffed the driver, an unusual move for a routine traffic stop. The two passengers in the back seat, sensing something was wrong, ran out of the car. That's when the officer pulled his gun - and tried to MURDER THEM BOTH.
The officer quickly fired three shots in a row, and in disturbing video, one of the boy appears to fall.
At the time the shots are fired, both boys have their backs to police, so it is believed the 17-year-old was shot from behind. It is ILLEGAL for an officer to shoot a fleeing suspect in the back.
As you can imagine, there's outrage over the video:
The 17-year-old was taken to McKeesport Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Allegheny County Police Department is asking the other person who ran away from the vehicle to turn himself in "so that he can give a comprehensive description of what occurred."
