On Monday at around 8 pm, the Strongsville, Illinois, police responded to a call. When they arrived on the scene, officers found 49-year-old Melinda Pleskovic lying face down with multiple stab wounds to her back. Immediately, polices rushed Melinda to the hospital, but it was too late; she was pronounced her dead.
Police are still searching for evidence of the crime, but one interesting development has come up. The husband Bruce Plescovic's 9-1-1 call. He claims to have found her murdered in their home.
In the call, Bruce says, “I think someone killed my wife." He then became angry and started complaining that authorities “dropped the ball” after numerous alleged complaints of break-ins.
“It looks like she has stab wounds on her back. We’ve had people trying to break into our house all year…You people dropped the f***** ball. This whole city is getting fricken’ taken over.”
According to a news release by the Strongsville Police Department, Bruce Plescovic contacted authorities the week prior and said someone tried to break into his back door.
Police have not named Bruce a suspect, but if you read social media, people online think they should.
