Police have a murder warrant out for 45-year-old Tonya Danyial Monroe. She's the grandmother of a baby who police say died from a meth overdose.
On March 11, police were called to a Sandy Springs, GA apartment owned by Tonya - they were told that an infant was there who was non-responsve.
When police arrived they said they found a 9-month-old with no signs of life. An investigation surrounding the death of the infant was launched. Initially, police believed that the child died of SIDS - but now they say otherwise.
Authorities say that an autopsy performed on the baby show that the child died from a "Methamphetamine overdose." The same report also states that there was "smoke" in the babys lungs at the time of death.
Upon learning this, police requested an arrest warrant for Tonya. She is currently considered a fugitive from justice
