'Sex And The City' star Cynthia Nixon was filled with nothing but praise for her transgender son during a recent interview.
“I’m very proud of him,” Nixon, 53, told Us Weekly at the Stray Dolls world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival. “It’s one of those things. I felt really weird using the other pronoun in public, but people didn’t know yet. … He was good with it, and it was really nice, actually, when we announced it. There was some general, you know, voicings of support but generally, it was not a big deal.”
Nixon's son came out as transgender last year and Nixon has been nothing but supportive.
Seph, 21, is Nixon’s eldest child. The aspiring politician shares Seph (born Samantha Mozes) and son Charles, 15, with her ex-partner Danny Mozes. She and wife Christine Marinoni also have son Max, 7.
Nixon ran against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary. She lost out to Cuomo who won the Democratic nomination for a third term.
