Royce Da 5'9 took to social media to call out Lord Jamar, who's consistently been trashing his long-time friend, Eminem.
"Lord Jamar, you a legend in the game. You running up these views 'cause you got so much controversial sh*t to say about this one fucking person," he began.
"He walks away with the check and you walk away with, craving attention... I don't like seeing you in that space, brother. Talking about Em', like, 'real n*ggas don't listen his music and all that.' First of all, you're not the measuring stick for who's real or who's cool."
He is responding to Jamar's claims that "real n*ggas" don't bump Eminem in their cars or at home. Jamar also thinks that Eminem is overrated.
"I ain't never seen no n*gga with no money sitting around talking about n*ggas all day. It's real sh*t going on in the world. It's kids in Flint who don't even have f*cking clean water to drink and you about to f*cking bore me with Lord Jamar's opinion on some f*cking rap. I don't know one lyric this n*gga ever said in my life. Like, c'mon man. We got to get it together.
Back in May, Jamar said the following:
“My thing about Eminem and all that — and I hate bringing his f*cking name up — my thing about this muthf*cka’ is you can’t crown somebody king and circumvent the true kingdom,” Jamar said. “White people will crown Eminem king because he sold the most records out of all rappers, but when we go into every day life of black people, people who are the originators of this sh*t, we don’t f*cking listen to Eminem.
“We don’t go to the gym and turn on Eminem. We don’t turn on Eminem on the way to the club — I’m talking about live n*ggas, I don’t know about corny n*ggas,” he pointed out. “You don’t hear Eminem in the club unless he’s f*cking with somebody else on the record.”
