Baby Boomer Roseanne Barr is the latest celebrity to offer up a conspiracy theory about the coronavirus outbreak.

She says that the virus was spread to wipe out her generation.

“I think they’re just trying to get rid of all my generation,” Barr said while speaking to fellow comedian Norm Macdonald. “The boomer ladies that, you know, that inherited their, you know, are widows. They inherited the money so they got to go wherever the money is and figure out a way to get it from people.”

“That would be a good thriller,” Macdonald replied.

This week, the number of coronavirus-related death topped 10,000, with New York reporting the most deaths.

New York has become the epicenter of the country’s outbreak, with 131,830 confirmed cases and 4,758 deaths so far.

Other theories around the virus have linked it to 5G technology. Several celebrities, including Keri Hilson and Woody Harrelson, have shared information relating to 5G.
