Actress Robin Givens will be the newest addition to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, MTO News has confirmed. The beautiful actress is currently working with the network and will be a part of next season's storylines.

Robin, 54, currently lives in Atlanta - so it's not that big of a stretch to have her join the popular Bravo hit reality show.

And we spoke to a Bravo insider who confirmed that Robin will be joining the show. The insider told MTO News, "We approached [Robin] years ago to be on the Housewives and she declined. Now she's open to it."

The insider - who works at Bravo - told us definitively that Robin WILL be on the show next season. She explained, "Oh [Robin] is definitely going to be on the show. [It's not clear] whether she'll be a housewife or a friend, but she's on."

The network and Robin are working out the details now - which are complicated because Robin is a working actress.

Robin is friends with a number of the Housewives - including Nene and Cynthia.

Robin Givens started off her career playing the role of Darlene Merriman in the ABC sitcom Head of the Class. She remained with the series for its entire five-year run. 

After the series ended in 1991, she continued her career with film roles and guest starring roles on television. She currently has a recurring role as Mayor Sierra McCoy on Riverdale.
