'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Joe Giudice's deportation appeal has been denied, which means that he will be deported to his home country of Italy.
His attorney, James Leonard Jr. released a statement about the appeal:
“We are extremely disappointed that the Board Of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal," Leonard said in the statement per NJ.com. “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.”
Giudice is being held at a facility for immigration detainees in western Pennsylvania.
Following the news, Teresa posted a picture of Joe with their children, captioned:
"Joe with the girls decorating eggs, days like this I love having photos."
Teresa had made it clear that she would be divorcing Joe if he were sent back to Italy.
“I’m not doing a long-distance relationship," she said during a reunion episode of the 'RHONJ' that aired last month. "I’m just not doing it.”
