Prominent Black republican Candace Owens announced yesterday that she was getting married, to a White man, George Farmer.

Candace is the controversial founder of the BLEXIT movement - which recruits Black people to join the Republican party. She's been criticized for turning a blind eye from rampant Racist in the Republican and far right circles.

Her fiancé is George Farmer, the editor of Tuning Point UK - a far right news publication in the United Kingdom.

Here are pics of the two:

According to Candace the two plan on getting married this year.

Interestingly Candace did not post a picture of her engagement ring on social media - as many of her fans expected. Some people are suspecting that she may not have been given a ring at all.

Candace grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. She's a graduate of Stamford High School. She was raised by her grandparents after her parents divorced.

In 2007, while a senior in high school, Owens received threatening racist phone calls that were traced to a car in which the 14-year-old son of then mayor Dannel Malloy was present. Owens’ family sued the Stamford Board of Education in federal court alleging that the city did not protect her rights, resulting in a $37,500 settlement.

Owens was pursuing an undergraduate degree in journalism at the University of Rhode Island but left school after her junior year. Afterwards, she worked for Vogue magazine. In 2012, she took a job as an administrative assistant for a private equity firm
