In the 1990s, The CW had this show called The Parent 'Hood. It wasn’t really a GOOD show, but it was sort of interesting and had a lot of Black faces on it – so people watched it.
The show ran from 1995 to through 1999 and centered around a family called the Petersons. They were an upper-middle-class black family in Harlem - a college professor and his wife Jerri who was a law student. The couple had four children: 16-year-old Michael, 15-year-old Zaria and 8-year-old Nicholas.
Anyways, the show also had a little girl on the show named CeCe – played by actress Ashli Adams.
Since the show ended, Ahli has gone on to land roles in the 1999 movie Baby Geniuses as well as an episode Girlfriends in 2008.
Although things may be quiet for Ashli on the acting front, her Instagram is poppin'! Dubbing herself "Princess Hennessey," the young actress has grown up into a beautiful, confident young lady and seems to be enjoying her youth - with the help of a few good gal pals.
Ashli was only 10 at the time of the show's end. Now she’s in her twenties. We think she looks fantastic. Have a look at her pictures below:
