Rapper YG is known as a gang-affiliated rapper from Los Angeles. But his new "style" doesn't seem to fit with the gangster image he portrays in his music.

The rapper is going viral today, after wearing sequins shorts and black "church shoes" to a NY Fashion Week event.

Here's the pic of YG's unorthodox outfit:

YG, real name Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, first blew up on the scene when he released his debut single, "Toot It and Boot It" featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which peaked at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100.

But YG became an international recording star in 2013 when he released his hit single, "My Nigga" featuring Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan. The song peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

He then released the singles "Left, Right" and "Who Do You Love?" featuring Drake, leading up to the release of his debut studio album. His debut album, My Krazy Life, and his second studio album, Still Brazy, both received  critical acclaim.

YG released two more albums, Stay Dangerous, which included the single, "Big Bank", and, 4Real 4Real, both of which were commercial successes.
