Rapper Tay-K has been indicted on a capital murder charge in Bexar County, Texas.
According to several reports, the new charge stems from a 2017 incident where cops say he allegedly shot and killed a 23-year-old photographer named Mark Anthony Saldivar during a robbery.
Tay-K is currently incarcerated after being sentenced to 55 years in another murder case. KSAT reports that while Tay-K was under house arrest in Tarrant County, he cut off his ankle monitor and fled to San Antonio in 2017 where he eventually killed Saldivar. After he allegedly killed Saldivar, he then became the subject of a national manhunt. It was then that he released his single, "The Race," while on the run from the law.
Prior to this indictment, Tay-K had pleaded not guilty to the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker but was found guilty by the jury. He was also slapped with a $10,000 fine for the killing and sentenced him to 30 years in prison for one count of aggravated robbery and an additional two 13-year sentences for two other counts of the crime, which also come with $3,000 fines.
