Rapper Silento has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon after he reportedly walked into a stranger's home and threatened them with a hatchet.
The rapper was arrested and released on bail after reports of a domestic disturbance at a Santa Ana property. The following day, Silento, real name Richard Lamar Hawk, allegedly strolled into a stranger's home (which was unlocked) with the lethal weapon.
He allegedly tried to hit two people with the weapon. Despite his attempts though nobody was hurt, but the couple's children were at home at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for the Orange Country Sheriff's Department told People magazine that Silento was charged with "inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant in a domestic violence incident."
He also faces two felony accounts of assault with a deadly weapon. If found guilty, he could face up to six years in jail.
