Rapper Pop Smoke has finally been laid to rest two weeks after he was killed in home he was renting in the Hollywood Hills.

According to Billboard, fans gathered on Thursday in the late star's hometown of Brooklyn, New York, to pay tribute as the funeral procession moved through the town.

Two horses pulled a white carriage, with the casket seen through the white curtain-lined windows as Pop's friend 50 Cent followed behind in his Lamborghini.

Last week, his family released a statement on the rapper's death.

"The family of Bashar' Pop Smoke' Jackson would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for your support. Every prayer, call, and act of kindness is deeply appreciated as we mourn the loss of our son, brother and friend," the statement begins.

"Brooklyn knew him as Bashar. He was educated and nurtured in Brooklyn and his rise to fame all developed from the place he proudly represented. Within the last year, his extraordinary giftedness was revealed to the world, introducing Pop Smoke," the statement continued.

Rest in peace, Pop Smoke.
