Earlier this week, Harlem rapper, Jim Jones, was accused of being a "snitch." But now his longtime friend and fellow New York rapper, Maino, is coming to his defense and letting the world know that Jim Jones "DID NOT SNITCH."

The Harlem rapper, Jones, was apparently caught on wiretap where he was allegedly discussing an attack on (and possible murder plot against) Tekashi 6ix9ine.

The wiretapped conversation was played in court - and it quickly leaked onto social media. 

Shortly afterward, a rumor then started that Jim Jones was cooperating with federal prosecutors. According to the social media rumors, Jim Jones was not only responsible for recording of the conversation but had also provided it to federal agents.

Well, now one of the most well respected New York rappers is speaking out about the matter - and setting the record straight.

Maino went on Instagram yesterday to assure fans that Jim Jones is NO SNITCH.

Here's what Maino said:
