Lil Wayne made news while performing at the Jumanji Festival tour on Saturday in Australia. Lil Wayne headlined a concert at Parramatta Park in Western Sydney.
At the start of the show when performing “John” live, someone in the crowd threw a water bottle on stage at Weezy that nearly hit him in the face.
Wayne stopped performing and said the following:
“Okay, so let me let you know. Where I’m from, I think y’all know that’s the States, we don’t throw sh*t on stage because all my n*ggas got pistols and they don’t know who to shoot at. So if you throw something else, I’mma be more safe, and I’mma be the bigger person and just leave, cause I don’t wan’ to k!ll everybody.”
While his threat was aggressive, it’s unacceptable to expect him to perform at a festival having heavy objects thrown at him. The next object could have been something more dangerous. People attend festivals to support artists they love and the hear good music. Audience members who assault the performers should have their passes revoked and kicked out of the venue.
We think he handled the situation reasonably.
Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga also performed at the festival as well as Wale, Ace Hood and Madeintyo.
