New age rappers continue to push the boundaries of male fashion. This weekend, the rapper Gunna was photo'd carrying a $10,000 Chanel purse.
The internet quickly reacted to the male rapper carrying what appeared to be a female bag.
And Gunna didn't hide from the controversy. The rapper clapped back against many of the people on Twitter that didn't approve of his fashion choice.
He told fans that he'd rather wear a purse than have "bows" in his hair. The clawback was an apparent dig at rival rapper Sauce Waka.

Gunna also recently confirmed that the fourth installment of his popular Drip Season mixtape series is coming soon.
"We've got Drip or Drown 2 happening, and we've got Drip Season 4 on the way," Gunna says as he walks toward his ride.
The last time Drip Season rocked the atmosphere was in February 2018 when the YSL rapper dropped Drip Season 3. The 17-track project features Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Nav, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Young Jordan and Lil Durk. Gunna doesn't get into the specific deets about his upcoming mixtape but, given the success of his debut studio album, it's bound to make his fans go wild.
The news of his upcoming project comes shortly after Gunna's Drip or Drown 2 debuted at the No. 3 slot of the Billboard 200 chart. The album racked up 90,000 equivalent album units, of which 7,000 came from traditional album sales. It even outshined his 2018 collab Drip Harder with Lil Baby by one spot, which makes it the highest position Gunna has ever held on the chart.
Gunna, 26, real name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, is a singer and rapper. He is signed to 300 Entertainment and Young Thug's record label, YSL Records.
In October 2018, he and Lil Baby released the joint mixtape Drip Harder, which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. In February 2019, he released the album Drip or Drown 2 which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard charts.
