Jersey City rapper Albee Al has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Passaic County, authorities said.

Albee Al, real name Albert Robinson, is facing two counts of attempted murder and multiple weapons offenses for his alleged role in a non-fatal shooting in Passaic on Aug. 23.

Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Wall Street on a report of a shooting. When the cops arrived, they found evidence of a crime scene as well as a 34-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound, officials said. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital.

This is not Albee first brush with the law.

The rapper also stood trial back in 2014 for the murder of a 17-year-old male in 2010. Prosecutors alleged Albee had thrown Jermaine Williams into the Hudson River in 2010 after he was shot, but could not convince a jury to convict him of the crime. He was eventually acquitted of the murder.
