Disgraced singer R. Kelly has been hit with 11 felony sex crime charges - much more series than the 10 that he's currently facing.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the alleged offense occurred back in January 2010. The newspaper also states that Kelly’s lawyer said the new charges are related to an alleged victim and acts that were the basis of one of the four sex abuse cases filed against Kelly earlier this year.
The new charges that Kelly has been hit with includes with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim between the ages of 13 to 16.
If found guilty of the new charges, Kelly is facing up to 30 years in prison. He will attend court on Jun. 6 over these new charges.
