R&B singer Frank Ocean came out as bisexual nearly 5 years ago. Now it appear that the singer moved further along the LGBT spectrum.
The singer was spotted on social media, trying on a frilly pink dress. He shared the image with his fans, who seemed to support his choice of outfit.
Frank was born Christopher Edwin Breaux in Long Beach, California, Ocean was a child protege when it came to music. When he was just a teenager, he cut some demos at a friend's home studio, shopped them around town, and eventually landed a songwriting deal that led to work for Justin Bieber, John Legend, and Brandy.
His official debut album, working beside the likes of Malay, Om'Mas Keith, and Pharrell Williams as fellow producers. The album, Channel Orange, was previewed for journalists at a handful of listening events. Some writers alleged that certain lyrics on the album revealed Ocean's bisexuality. Ocean subsequently published a screen shot of a TextEdit file (entitled "thank you's") that included details of a romantic relationship, his first love, with a man.
Returning to the public eye after a long silence, Frank Ocean teased new music on Instagram on Monday morning (Nov. 19), according to Billboard.
After making private Gram account public last week, Ocean posted a clip of what sounds like a new song on his story.
The video features an upbeat track and the repeated phrase "I've got visions for my life" as the singer head bangs to it. Keeping it simple, he captioned the post with four whirlwind emojis.
In January, Ocean cryptically hinted at new music by posting a photo on his Tumblr of a person wearing a green hat that read, “IF YOU LIKED 2017, YOU’LL LOVE 2018.” Back in Nov. 2017 Ocean hinted that he had a new album ready to release by posting "I made the album before 30. I just aint put that bitch out," on his Tumblr page. The singer hasn't release a full-length effort since he dropped the visual album Endless and the Billboard 200 leader Blonde within days of each other in Aug. 2016.
