R&B singer Ashanti attended the 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade at Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, California. And she showed off her new brows.

And while she looked great her brows looked, well . . . not so great. Fans are already going in on Ashanti's new eyebrows - she''s trending on social media.

Ashanti was one of the numerous performers at the parade, which also included David Archuleta, Ruben Studdard and Kimberly Caldwell-Harvey.

She brought along her mother Tina as her date. The lovely mom was festive in a long-sleeved red top over a black top and black pants with black heels.

Ashanti first broke out with the hit Fat Joe song What's Luv and Ja Rule's Always On Time before her first self-titled album debuted in 2002.

Ashanti, who is 38 years old, is transitioning from a superstar singer - to a superstar actress. We hear that she has a number of high profile acting gigs in the pipeline.

And keep in mind, Ashanti has already made a name for herself as an actress.

Though she had played smaller, uncredited roles prior to her success as a solo artist, in films such as Spike Lee's Malcolm X (1992), she began to land more prominent roles after breaking into the music industry. She has played parts on television series such as The Proud Family (2001), American Dreams (2002) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2003), and landed roles on the silver screen, in films like Coach Carter (2005) and John Tucker Must Die (2006).

More recently, Ashanti secured a recurring role as Latasha on the series Army Wives (2013).
