Queen & Slim actress Jodie Turner-Smith has revealed why she will not be raising kids in the United States with her new husband, Joshua Jackson - and cites white supremacy as the reason.

"The racial dynamics over here are fraught. White supremacy is overt. It's the reason I don't want to raise my kids here," she told The Sunday Times: "I don't want my kids to grow up doing active shooter drills at school."

It seems as though she has a new place in mind, where she thinks the racial dynamics are better and where she would ultimately like to go:

"England has gone off the rails," she said, even though she is from Britain, "so I was thinking maybe Canada."

Jodie Turner-Smith is over the US and is seemingly making plans to leave. She also refuses to spill on whether she and Jackson actually got married, despite a marriage license being purchased months ago.

"I haven't said to anybody, 'Yeah, we got married,'" she said. "People are assuming whatever they want, but when people tell me 'Congratulations,' I say 'Thank you.'"
