Queen Latifah's production company is being sued for allegedly stealing a concept for a reality television show, along with BET.

According to The Blast, Latifah's show - 'From the Bottom Up' was originally an idea from Latosha Lee.

According to the news outlet, Lee sued Black Entertainment Television (BET), Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment and Nicci Gilbert.

In the court documents obtained by The Blast, “In 2013, Lee conceived a novel idea for a reality television show called ‘Real Life Cinderellas of Atlanta. She says the show would “focus on the daily lives of women who had gone through publicized scandals and were seeking redemption.”

Lee also claimed that her show was to feature five “African-American quasi-celebrity women living in Atlanta, Georgia who have all experienced media scandals and working toward their lives around.”

She claimed that she filmed with a cast and even filmed a sizzle reel and that BET claimed that they were interested before they went ghost on her. They later released 'From the Bottom Up' and claims that the show even featured similar cast members and storylines.
