Prince Harry is proving that he has his wife Meghan Markle's back and has slammed the U.K. media for their relentless bullying of her.
According to reports, a newspaper allegedly illegally published a private letter, and now the couple is suing them.
"Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences -- a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son," Harry wrote in a statement online per CNN.
Harry even compared the harassment to that of his late mother, Princess Diana.
"My deepest fear is history repeating itself. I've seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person," he said. "I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces."
The British media has been accused of harassing Markle since the couple started dating. Even the BBC faced backlash after they posted a skit of the Duchess - which many felt was racist.
