Rapper Plies should be celebrating this weekend after receiving news that his felony gun charge has been dropped.
The southern rapper was arrested on Sept. 19, after security found a Glock 43 gun and a fully-loaded magazine in his suitcase.
According to TMZ, the felony charge was dropped after he completed a concealed weapons course. He has since obtained a valid concealed weapons license. The state of Florida does not require a permit to purchase a handgun, but a license is required by the state to carry a concealed firearm and guns are prohibited in airports.
His defense at the time was that he grabbed the wrong bag as his carry-on.
Back in October, MTO reported that Plies had been seen out and about with Omarion's ex-bae, Apryl Jones. She even featured as his leading lady in the video "All Thee Above" featuring Kevin Gates.
