Sandy "Pepa" Denton unveiled her new face yesterday, as she was spotted by paparazzi in New York. Pepa was attending the A+E Upfront Event At Lincoln Center.

And folks on social media are claiming that she appears to have bleached her skin.

Pepa has already had multiple plastic surgery operations. She's admitted to having her nose done, and her boobs done, and her butt done. And many suspect that Pepa underwent a full facelift also.

So given Pepa's acceptance of plastic surgery, it's not all that surprising that she may have bleached her skin also.

Pepa was in New York city to talk about her upcoming TV show...The story of the Queens hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa are the subjects of a new scripted miniseries that’s coming to Lifetime, Variety reports. The story of Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton will be told in “Salt-N-Pepa,” which is set to incorporate their hit songs (including “Let’s Talk About Sex,” “What a Man,” and “Shoop”). James, Denton, and Queen Latifah are listed as executive producers on the project, which currently has no air date.

Pepa is half of the female hip hop group Salt N Pepa, formed in 1985.

The group originally comprised of Cheryl James ("Salt"), and Latoya Hanson, before Hanson was replaced with Deidra Roper ("DJ Spinderella"). 

Their debut album Hot, Cool & Vicious sold more than a million copies worldwide, making them the first female rap act to achieve gold and platinum-status. Their fourth album Very Necessary sold over 7 million copies worldwide, making it the highest-selling album by a female rap act in history
