In the video the man opens juice containers - drinks from them and closed them - and returned the bottles to the shelves. The man claimed that he was trying to "spread corona" to unsuspecting buyers.
It's not clear whether the man really was infected with the deadly Covid 19 virus, but local police are taking the threat seriously.
According to multiple news outlets, police from across North Carolina are looking for the man and he will likely face terrorism charges if arrested.
While facts about this new coronavirus continues to evolve, doctors now know that Covid-19 is far more contagious and far more lethal than any seasonal flu. To date, more than 238,000 Americans have tested positive for the virus and there are positive cases in every state of America, Washington DC and the for US territories. Also, as of Thursday evening and according to a New York Times database, there have been 5,800 confirmed deaths from the virus so far.
According to health officials, though, more grim news are ahead for us all regarding the coronavirus as they expect a minimum of 100,000 to 240,000 Americans to die from the spread.
