Rapper/activist Nipsey Hussle was murdered last night, outside his store in South Central Los Angeles. The 33 year old rapper is survived by his two children - daughter Emani and son Kross.
But he's also survived by his wife Lauren London. Yes, you read that Lauren and Nipsey are husband and wife.
According to folks close to the couple, the pair got married last summer in a private ceremony in Mexico.
Nipsey and Lauren had been together for 5 years. Last summer the pair decided to make things official, and have a wedding. Their children were there to witness the nuptials, along with a few close family and friends. They exchanged wedding rings and wore them daily.
Here are the rings:
Emani’s mother is Hussle’s ex-girlfriend, Tanisha Asghedom. Here's Nipsey's daughter:

As fans mourned the death of Nipsey just last month the famously private but glamorous couple opened up about their relationship in a GQ profile that was published. Notably, the profile showcased the couple posed stylishly in settings in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles, where 33-year-old Hussle lived and worked his whole life and where he was “pretty much royalty.”
The story was titled “California Love,” and featured this subhead: “The people’s champ of West Coast hip-hop and New New from ‘ATL’ are redefining what a storybook romance looks like in 2019.”
Fans definitely bought into the “storybook romance” aspect of Hussle and London’s relationship, which began five years ago. The couple were parents of 2-year-old son Kross and of a blended family that included Hussle’s daughter from an earlier relationship and London’s son Cameron, 9, from her relationship with Lil’ Wayne.
Hussle, who was born Ermias Asghedom, and London, 34, quickly became one of hip-hop’s favorite couples because of their obvious affection and devotion to each other, which is evident in this GQ Couples Quiz that was posted along with their GQ profile. In the video, London teased Hussle about how he was her “celebrity crush.”
