Nicki Minaj is firing back at Cardi B - using a disparaging comment against the rapper - and suggesting that Cardi may have "herpes."
Rumors about Cardi surfaced last year, when a photo of Cardi was taken. And in the photo, Cardi has what appears to be a cold sore on her lip. At the time the image was released, people began saying that Cardi may have "herpes" - because of her alleged cold sore..
Here's how the Mayo Clinic describes what a cold sore is - from a medical perspective:
Cold sores spread from person to person by close contact, such as kissing. They're caused by a herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) closely related to the one that causes genital herpes (HSV-2). Both of these viruses can affect your mouth or genitals and can be spread by oral sex. Cold sores are contagious even if you don't see the sores.
Since the photo dropped, some haters have been calling Cardi B - "Herpes B"
And on Saturday, Nicki Minaj joined the fray - calling her rival "Herpe B." Look at the comment - that now appears to be deleted from social media.
So far Cardi has not responded to Nicki's comment.
