Police claim that a woman FAKED being raped by two college football players - after she was caught - having a TRAIN RAN ON HER.
Nikki Yovino, 18, from Long Island, New York, has been charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. If convicted she faces up to five years in prison.
On the night in question, Nikki attended a Sacred Heart University football club party and claimed the two men pulled her into a bathroom in the basement of the house.
“I don’t want to be in here, I don’t want to do anything. My friends are waiting for me outside, let me go outside,” police said she claims she told the men.
Nikki claims that the two men then took turns raping her.
But the football players tell a different tale. They say Nikki went into the bathroom with both of them and willingly allowed them to run a train on her.
The two Sacred Heart University football players were suspended from the team and lost their scholarships last year following her rape allegations.
So why did she lie about the rape? Well according to an affidavit, when police Detective Walberto Cotto Jr. pressed Nikki about inconsistencies in her original statement, she admitted she had made up the rape allegations. Her reason was "it was the first thing that came to mind and she didn’t want to lose (another male student) as a friend and potential boyfriend. She stated that she believed when (the other male student) heard the allegation it would make him angry and sympathetic to her."
