We thought we've seen it all, when rap sensation Tekashi 6ix9ine broke onto the music scene. But Tekashi's impact, especially in his home town of Brooklyn - is growing and growing each day.
In fact, he now has a group of young men - with loose ties to him - that are tatting "69" ion their face and bodies, and dying their hair rainbow colors.
For example, we learned that there's another rapper called 6ixNine BLUE. The young man is an affiliate of Tekashi - only he's a member of the CRIPS. Tekashi is an outspoken member of the Bloods gang.
Here's Blue 6ix9ine describing the crowing movement in Brooklyn:
6ix9ine recently spoke with DJ Akademics and attempted to clear up some of the controversies surrounding him. HotNewHipHop reported out the conversation:
He tackles the recent shooting at Barclay's Center, which culminated in a reported performance ban. Before he can provide a clear answer, a member of the squad slides in to confirm that 6ix9ine can indeed perform at the Barclay's Center; Tekashi mentions that he'll be gracing the stage on June 8th.
He's also asked about Bhad Bhabie, who has been firing shots in his direction at every occasion. Tekashi hits back with a page outta Rich The Kid's playbook, playing ignorant. "That's the Lil Tay girl right? They all the same girl to me." As he's leaving, 6ix9ine mentions that he's about to meet up with Kanye West "right now," which may very well be another trolling spell. It's hard to say when this was filmed, but we do know that Kanye West is set up in Wyoming, working on his upcoming five projects. Should this indeed be true, Tekashi must have been filmed before his departure.
