Following on from their recently premiered Ted Bundy documentary, Netflix has now bought the new Ted Bundy movie which stars Zac Efron for a reported $9 million.
Netflix's Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes trended online the day of the premiere and spawned a plethora of debates online over Bundy's alleged "hotness."
Now Hollywood heartthrob Efron's performance is said to be equally as dark as the docuseries
The beat out offers from STX and Lionsgate and secured the $9 million deal that would give them the U.S. rights (and some international rights) to the Bundy titled 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' which centers around Bundy's crimes through there eyes of his longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer. Kloepfer is a believer in Bundy's innocence until the very end.
