Sad news for Marvel fans everywhere, as Netflix has canceled 'Jessica Jones' and 'The Punisher.'

The third season of 'Jessica Jones' will run before it's canceled and 'The Punisher' is to be axed following its second season.

Netflix has already nixed 'Luke Cage,' 'The Iron Fist' and 'Daredevil.'

“We are grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning," Netflix said in a statement.

"It has been a dream to play Jessica alongside my amazing cast and the best crew in the business for these past 5 years. I am so grateful for every second of it. We have THE BEST fans," she wrote, teasing that she's "proud of how we complete JJ’s journey," Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica Jones, wrote on Instagram.
