NBA YoungBoy was arrested along with 15 others in 2020 on suspicion of possession of stolen firearms and distributing drugs.
According to Rolling Stone, the rapper’s trial date has been set for May 16 in Louisiana’s Middle District. YoungBoy has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Baton Rouge artist was taken into custody March 22 after the rapper led them on a high-speed chase. He then hopped out of his vehicle and fled on foot. Prosecutors say they found a weapon inside the vehicle YoungBoy was driving. YoungBoy was eventually given a pretrial release to Utah.

NBA YoungBoy is being monitored electronically at a secret location and will not be allowed to travel out of Baton Rouge, parts of Utah, and California for his case hearings. The rapper cannot have more than three visitors at his home and all of his visitors must be approved by the judge. The visiting hours are between 9 PM- 7 AM. He cannot have a firearm or use any drugs.
