Rapper NBA Youngboy has been released from prison and has reportedly been placed on house arrest for 14 months.

The rapper was arrested in May after a deadly shootout in Florida. According to reports, a black Cadillac Escalade reportedly pulled up and opened fire on NBA and his crew. His crew then returned fire, but not without casualties. NBA's girlfriend, Kaylyn Long, was struck and later hospitalized and man unrelated to the incident was killed in the crossfire.

A source close to the rapper told WAFB that NBA had been “shot at.” After realizing Long was injured, Youngboy loaded her into a vehicle and attempted to bring her to the hospital, but the vehicle’s tire was flat. She as later transported to the hospital by an ambulance.

Fans may not get a chance to see the rapper perform until his probation is up. He has been ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor and will not be allowed to perform during this time.
