NBA YoungBoy Being Investigated By Feds Over Drug Charges

NBA Youngboy is under investigation for his alleged connection to a September 2020 music video.

Last year, YoungBoy was filming the video in Baton Rouge -- when the cops showed up, leading to the arrests of 16 individuals on drug and weapons charges -- including the popular rapper.

YoungBoy is a convicted felon and federal and state laws prohibit him from being in possession of a firearm.

YoungBoy’s lawyer, James Manasseh, filed a motion to have the rapper released from bond supervision. No charges have been filed in more than four months. A judge ordered the return of $40,000 in cash and a $300,000 cashier’s check to the rappers, as they were seized during the arrest.

“The Office of the District Attorney has returned Mr. Gaulden’s seized property and there is no indication that the State intends to file a Bill of Information against Mr. Gaulden,” the motion states.

YoungBoy recently welcomed a son with Yaya Mayweather, the daughter of boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather.
