Maryland police arrested Glen “Big Baby” Davis in February and charged him with being a DRUG DEALER – specifically with seven counts of drug possession and distribution
According to ABC 2’s Brian Kuebler, Glen was arrested at a Hampton Inn in Aberdeen, Maryland, on Feb. 7 after police responded to a complaint about an odor of marijuana coming from his room.
Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber said that when officers entered the room, they found 126 grams of marijuana, $92,164 and “a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”
According to Kubler, “the ledger was of names of people of who owed money along with baggies for individual packaging of a quarter pound of marijuana.”
Police said that all the stuff in the room belonged to Glen – a former Celtic.
Last year the NBA champion watched the death of his “neighborhood friend,” Alton Sterling, 37, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on July 5th after two cellphone videos captured two officers and Sterling engaged in a dispute. No federal charges were brought against Sterling’s killers but his death made headlines across the globe.
It’s sad to say, but we’re just lucky that he was arrested and didn’t lose his life to another trigger happy cop.
