Friday was the UK premiere of the movie Black Panther – and there was a bit of CONTROVERSY on the red carpet.
An Italian pop star named Roshelle showed up to the red carpet – virtually nekkid.
The UK premiere of the highly-anticipated movie took place at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
Leaving virtually nothing to the imagination, she posed for the cameras in her see-through bodysuit Her pink hair was tied up in a messy bun as she peered over her black sunglasses, her black coat falling off of her pale shoulders.
The premiere was also attended by much bigger names who knew how to behave, including Michaela Coel, Leona Lewis, Stormzy, will.i.am, The Black Eyed Peas and more.
Speaking to the Metro, Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan said:
"Representation is important, period, so being able to identify with yourself on screen in all the lanes of the industry, whether it be music, film, behind the camera, in front of the camera, I think it's extremely important, so as long as the discussion is being had and people are talking about it, that's a type of progression there."
Well, we wish somebody had spoken to Roshelle about how to represent herself at the premiere and cover it up. But you know, wth every achievement Black people have - there's always somebody who has to gatecrash and try and make it about them.
Many on social media believed that she was making some sort of a “political statement.” So far Roshelle has not spoken out about the controversy.
All we know is, her outfit was trash, and so is her music!
