The R. Kelly camp must be shaking in their boots as a prosecutor has told a federal judge in Chicago that more charges and more defendants could be added.

Prosecutor Angel Krull said a more far-reaching indictment could replace the charging document that led to Kelly's arrest as Krull has also requested an order protecting evidence and limiting what lawyers can say publicly about it, citing harassment of witnesses from Kelly's fans and his team.

"People who are brave and courageous shouldn't be subject to this," she said per NBC.

The disgraced singer is being held without bond on charges that include producing child pornography and coercing minors to engage in sex. He faces similar federal charges in New York, along with Illinois charges brought by Cook County prosecutors. Next week he will be flown to New York to face federal charges in the Brooklyn federal court.

He denies all of the charges against him.
