More of R. Kelly's inner circle are expected to be indicted following last week's surprise arrests.

The disgraced singer R. Kelly was arrested in Chicago on Thursday night in a sweeping new federal sex-crime prosecution, officials said. Kelly taken into custody by New York police detectives as well as by officials from the Department of Homeland Security, law enforcement sources said.

According to the 13 count federal indictment in Illinois, Kelly recorded himself having sex with minors. His former manager, Derrel McDavid, who was also charged in facilitating and covering up Kelly's crimes and have pleaded not guilty.

"Kelly and McDavid learned that multiple videos were missing from Kelly's collection," the indictment reads.

"Kelly, McDavid, and others agreed to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars on Kelly's behalf to victims, witnesses, and others to ensure that they would not cooperate with law enforcement."

Sources familiar with the federal investigation told The Blast, "more indictments are on the way" concerning Kelly's vast network of staff over the years who have helped him evade prosecution.
