There was some speculation as to whether Michael B. Jordan's character, Eric Killmonger would be returning for the 'Black Panther' sequel.
Well, according to Angela Bassett and her husband Courtney B. Vance, he will be.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet on Sunday, the couple were asked whether or not all of the cast will be returning:
“I would assume so" Bassett replied. But her husband wasn't prepared to beat around the bush and flat out confirmed the news.
"Yes, just go ahead and say it, yes! Everyone will be there, including Michael B."
Before Bassett added: “[We didn’t technically see him] go into the ocean, no,” she says.
In the 'Black Panther' movie, we saw 'Black Panther' seemingly falls to his death before discovering that he was being kept alive by M'Baku's tribe. And let's face it, 'Black Panther' would not hold the same energy without Killmonger.
