Claudia Ochoa Félix, the woman known as the " Empress Anthrax," has died - according to multiple reports on social media.

Claudia was believed to have been one of the highest ranking female bosses in Mexico's Sinaloa cartel. In 2014, a rumor spread on social media that she was a high-ranking leader of the murder squad Los Ántrax, a bloc of enforcers allied to the Sinaloa Cartel.

After their leader José Rodrigo Aréchiga Gamboa (alias "Chino Ántrax") was arrested, Claudia was rumored to be one of the new leaders. She denied the claims following the rumors and her involvement in organized crime.

Well she's now dead. According to reports. Here's the photo circulating on social media, it purports to be her death pic:

According to the reports circulating on the Internet, she died from a drug overdose in the municipality of Culiacán in the state of Sinaloa in Mexico.

But while her official cause of death is "drugs", many online suspect that she was assassinated.

Empress Anthrax first gained international notoriety back in 2014, when she took to Instagram - and started boasting about her luxurious lifestyle - which included bikini clad pics of the Mexican beauty. She also posted photos where she posed with high caliber rifles while showing off her spectacular figure.
