As Meghan Markle's due date is fast approaching, there is more commotion in the U.K. media as it is being reported that she has rejected the Queen's offer to use her doctors and instead, wants her own doctors to deliver her baby.

According to Radar Online, Meghan has rejected the help of Royal Household gynecologists Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston, as her main physicians.

“Meghan said she doesn’t want the men in suits. She was adamant that she wanted her own people. It did leave a few of us a little baffled," one source told Radar.

Another source said:

“It is slightly surprising. These people [the Queen’s doctors] are the best of the best and when it comes down to it, their role would actually be very limited in the birth itself, assuming all goes to plan.

The news follows Meghan reportedly snubbing royal tradition by opting for a private maternity unit. She does not want to give birth and then pose outside Paddington hospital for photographs after the birth opting for a private photo session instead.

And she has every right to choose where to give birth to her child.
