New parents Mehan Markle and Prince Harry have given cameras a first look at the new royal baby.
They have not yet revealed the baby's name, so many media outlets are calling the newborn, 'Baby Sussex.'
"It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm ... he's just been the dream," Markle told reporters.
"I don't know where he gets that from," Harry joked. "Parenting is amazing. But we're just so thrilled to have our own bundle of joy and to spend precious time with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up." Adding, His looks are changing every single day. He's already got a bit of facial hair!"
Their child is the seventh in line to the throne, and Queen Elizabeth II’s eighth great-grandchild. He is not expected to have a royal title.
Duchess Meghan said her mother has been with them since the birth of Baby Sussex and that they ran into the Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on their way to meet reporters.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son was born on Monday morning.
Duchess Meghan says the baby has the "sweetest temperament," adding, "He's really calm. It's just been a dream. It's been a special couple of days."
"Parenting is amazing. It's only been, what? Two and a half days, three days? But we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy. We're looking forward to spending precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up," Prince Harry said.
