There’s SERIOUS beef between Rick Ross and his number one MMG artist Meek Mill, MTO News has confirmed. Meek has been signed to Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group (MMG) since 2011, when Mill’s debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, was released in 2012 under MMG and Warner Bros. Records. The album, which was heavily pushed by Rick Ross, preceded by the lead single “Amen” (featuring Drake), debuted at number 57 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
But now, 10 years later Meek wants OFF the label – and Ross is refusing to let him leave.
MTO News learned that on Saturday, Meek Mill threw a party in LIV for his birthday. According to our sources, Rick Ross pulled up to the event – and while he was allowed into LIV – he was banned from the VIP section, where Meek and other celebrities were.
