MC Hammer just turned 57 years old this past weekend, and he wanted to show his fans that he can still move like he did in the 1990s.

The rapper shared a video showing him practicing one of his patented dance moves. And wow, he really does still got it.

Here's the video:

MC rapper, real name Stanley Kirk Burrell, is a legendary hip hop star, a dancer, record producer and entrepreneur. He had his greatest commercial success and popularity from the late 1980s, until the early 1990s.

Hammer had one of the most meteoric rises in music history - he's best known for hit records - especially "U Can't Touch This" and "2 Legit 2 Quit". He's also known for his very flashy outfits, his amazing dance moves, choreography and of course his Hammer pants.

Since retiring from rapping, Hammer became a Silicon Valley web mogul and activist, becoming involved in several Internet projects - including TechCrunch40 conferences.

According to reports MC Hammer is preparing to come out of retirement and go on tour. "Nostalgia tours aren't rare, nor are hip-hop nostalgia tours. But here's the thing about the upcoming MC Hammer tour: While it initially provoked eye-rolling as another money-milking machine drawing its cash from an affinity for days gone by, well, Hammer hasn't hurt 'em in a very long time.

In fact, the tour that kicks off in Texas at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Aug. 3 is his first since 1991.
