Master P has signed a deal with Lionsgate to produce his own biopic.

Sharing the news on his Instagram, he wrote:

"Today we made history! Signed one of the biggest deals with LionsGate for the Master P biopic “King of the South IceCream Man”⚜️Salute to the kings that came before me Lil J, Uncle Luke, and Tony Draper. God is good to be able to be alive and tell your story, and have it written by Tyger Williams who did Menace to society. Movies..Movies...Movies 🎥 Go to to get that new drip💧 #WeAllWeGot"

In the video, Master P also plugs his new shoe line before spilling the news. The No Limits founder said the deal will be even bigger than Straight Outta Compton and had taken him a year to pull together. The movie has been penned by Menace II Society writer, Tyger Williams.

He did not announce an official release date, but says that 2019 is going to be a big year.

Master P recently caught heat for his comments which appeared to blame the parents of R. Kelly survivors.
