While Chadwick Boseman was keeping his cancer diagnosis a secret from fans and friends, he appears to have told MARVEL about his cancer.
And Marvel has laid out its plans for the Black Panther franchise, now that Chadwick's no longer with us.
Last month, MTO News leaked news that Chadwick Boseman will be replaced by Letitia Wright for the role of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Shuri, played by 26-year old Guyanese actress Letitia Wright, will be taking over as the iconic Wakandan superhero. At the time of the leak, many of Chadwick Boseman's fans were not happy that T’Challa would have such little screen time left.
But Disney/Marvel made plans to move on from Chadwick. In fact, they have already previewed what a Shuri Black Panther would look like, through a series of comic books.
